Swagger Are Us defines the subjects of our posts, the readers who subscribe, and the writers who write. Swagger Are Us was formed to inform. It was created for an outlet of entertainment of those who want to be updated within this urban popular culture in a new fashion.

What is SRU?

SRU is an abbreviation for the title of the site, Swagger Are Us hence “Swagger ‘R’ Us, and helps readers become more familiar with it instead of saying “Swagger Are Us” to refer to the blog. It also fits our theme which is school.

Who is Sirius Swagg and what does that mean?

Sirius is derived from the meaning of ‘dog star’. Sirius is indeed a dog and can be looked at like a star although he admires the entertainers or ‘stars’ that SRU represents.

Sirius Swagg is our mascot and is here to help provide the latest in Hip Hop and R&B entertainment.

HOW?

Owner, Terrell Johnson, used to surf the web constantly through various outlets of urban media to find a balance of content that pertained to his interests. He stumbled upon many blogs until he found Think2wice.org (GossipOnThis!) and contacted Dustin Gary for a position on the blog. He later got the position as Sports Editor and Assistant Contributor in April 2008.

In 2009, he later wanted to embark on beginning his own blog, Swagger Are Us, to add to the family site, Gossip On This.
